McCown, Fisher & Cremeans LPA has served Southern Ohio families and businesses since 1964. Three partners, two offices, and a single standard: do the work right, take the time to listen, and treat every client like the firm's reputation depends on the outcome — because it does.
The Firm
The Law Offices of McCown, Fisher & Cremeans opened in 1964 on Park Avenue in downtown Ironton. Over six decades, the firm has grown into one of Lawrence County's most established general-practice firms — while keeping the close, attorney-to-client relationship that defined it from day one.
We are a three-partner firm by design: not a high-volume mill, not a single-attorney shop. The firm's three partners bring complementary practice areas — criminal defense, family law, estate planning, civil litigation, real estate, and business law — and personally handle every matter they take.
From two offices — 311 Park Avenue in Ironton and 220 4th Street in Chesapeake — we serve Lawrence, Scioto, Gallia, and Jackson Counties for the broader practice, and a wider nine-county footprint for criminal defense and OVI / DUI defense at our dedicated sites, mfcdefender.com and mfcdui.com.
